Cleaning and Care

Wood & MDF Finish

Below are instructions for wood and MDF finish cabinets and doors. If you are unsure of what wood type you have, contact your sales representative for information.

Warning!

Detergents, soap pads, or steel wool can damage your cabinetry. Any type of harsh abrasive will scar the wood’s finish. It’s best to avoid the use of polishes or paste wax that contains silicone. These products cause wax build up that is difficult to remove. The resulting residue tends to attract dust.

Humidity Control in Winter Seasons

We will not issue any warranty on wood cabinets expansion or retraction because of low humidity during the dry season in winter. Standard industry recommends to keep the living space between 35% -45% (RH) relative humidity, to keep wood expansion or retraction well balance then its highly recommended to keep all areas of the living spaces humidity between 35% - 45%.

Mullion Glass Doors

Clean the glass with any commercial glass cleaner. The glass can be cleaned while mounted on the door. While cleaning mounted glass, be careful not to damage the finish of the door and cabinet parts. It’s best not to spray glass cleaner directly into glass or cabinet parts. Glass cleaner can seep into areas behind the mullions and may cause the wood to discolor. Instead, spray a small amount of cleaner onto a lint-free cloth or paper towel and wipe the glass. Remember, proper initial care and maintenance will insure a lifetime of beauty and enjoyment of your new cabinets.
